We are proud to offer what we believe are the finest parrot play stands available. All play stands offered on this site are made in house using only the best materials available. We make each parrot play stand by hand with bird safe products so that you may rest assured that you are giving your feathered family member the best available play stand.

All things constructed require a solid foundation so we make our bases using 3/4" AC plywood with Wilsonart plastic laminate, in the same manner that quality kitchen countertops are made. We trim out the base with a tough, beak resistant Hard Maple seed guard and use furniture grade casters. This makes for a very durable, bird safe play stand base and is far superior to the melamine covered particle board with pine trim most companies use.

Next we use Hard Maple dowels joined together with furniture quality mortise and tenon joints to make the "tree". Hard Maple is extremely durable and resistant to tough beaks. It is also fully kiln dried and is not prone to checking like the manzanita used in many playgyms and playstands. This means that our stands won't develop splits in the "branches" like other play stands do. After the "tree" has been made, all surfaces are textured to resemble the feel of bark. This process assures that your parrot will be able to walk and climb in a comfortable safe manner. The "trees" on our parrot play stands have no slippery surfaces.

Lastly, we use only bird safe stainless steel eye screws as toy hooks, and stainless steel hardware to secure the Lixit brand food bowls to the stand. Each playstand comes standard with at least three stainless steel toy hooks and two 10 oz. Lixit brand food and water bowls.
